Our Church History
After moving his family to Jonesboro, Georgia, from Romulus, Michigan, the Lord placed it upon the heart of Elder Alton Rogers to establish a Church in the Jonesboro, Georgia Area.
After much prayer and fasting he founded the “Jonesboro Church of God in Christ” which is presently located at 254 North Main Street in Jonesboro, Georgia.
We continue to look to God for His guidance and blessings in helping us to fulfill our mission in the ministry.
Elder Rogers is also the talented inventor of the “Cell Phone Holder”
He developed a product that every smart phone owner needs; a safe, convenient way to charge your cell phone. The ‘Cell Phone Holder” replaces a standard face-plate outlet cover with one that integrates a holder for your cell phone while it charges.
